Rogers Media Television will take over OLN on August 31, 2008. This follows the purchase of the channel which took place on August 1, 2008. Rogers had owned one-third of the channel, with the rest owned by CTVglobemedia and Comcast. In 2007, Rogers agreed to buy out the other partners.
